Construction issues have prompted the Muskogee Public Schools to delay the start of school by four days.
School officials say the new start date is now August 18, pending a vote by the Muskogee School board on Monday.
Officials say a recent bond issue approved by voters allowed the school district make some technology upgrades. Those upgrades are taking longer than expected.
The rest of the schools in Muskogee County are starting on Thursday, August 14.
