Police Looking For Murder Suspect

Tulsa police need your help to solve the murder of a young man. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports he was killed July 5th inside his own apartment.

Police say it was one a.m. on July 5th and Tyrone Kelly was inside his apartment at 11321 East 23rd Street. They say he let someone inside, someone police believe Kelly knew. Another person inside says he heard what happened next.

"They heard arguing between Tyrone and this other black male and shortly after, heard a gunshot, several gunshots," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.

Police hope someone knows who Tyrone was meeting with or maybe someone took the suspect to Tyrone's apartment. Police only have a couple of names to go on.

"Goes by the first name of Marquis and has a street name of Detroit. He's described as having gold front or nice teeth," said Officer Ashley.

They urge anyone who knows who this person is, to come forward.
