The iPhone phenomenon was in full swing Friday morning. The line at AT&T stretched from the store entrance to the street of Memorial Drive. At the front of the long line was Jeremy Rockefeller, who waited nine hours until the store opened at 8:00 a.m. for the new phone.
"It's faster, cheaper and better looking. You got to have it," said iPhone fanatic Jeremy Rockefeller.
Jeremy's iPhone inmates killed time Friday morning by looking at iPhone literature and talking on their old iPhone's. Meanwhile, Jeremy spends the last bit of time in line enjoying some food before the iPhone bliss goes into overdrive.
"Had a couple snacks and made a couple runs to QuikTrip over night," Rockefeller said.
As the wait comes down to the final few minutes, Jeremy can't speed up the process by employing a cute kid to tug on the front doors. After Jeremy fuels his iPhone fire, he's finishing off the work week.
"Hopefully we can stay awake long enough to get through Friday," Rockefeller said.
At 8:00 the doors are open and Jeremy and friends file in to get their phones. For some the day's just starting, for these iPhone fanatics their Friday's in full swing.
