The identity of a man killed in a fire at 15th and Harvard Thursday evening has been released.  Tulsa Fire Captain Michael Baker says James Thurow died in the blaze.

Tulsa firefighters responded to a fire at the now vacant Ron's Hamburgers and Chili building around 10 p.m.  They found a door at the back of the building on fire.

Once the flames were out, they found a man in a small room in the back.  Fire officials say the victims had burns on his body.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tulsa Fire Captain Michael Baker says the restaurant was unoccupied and it's not clear what sparked the fire.  He says the property owners had plans to demolish the building.

The state Medical Examiner's Office will determine the exact cause of death.
