State Superintendent Sandy Garrett wants an education overhaul. She told Oklahoma teachers that the school day is too cluttered at her State of Education address on Tuesday. Garrett wants curriculum streamlined to help students learn.
"We're trying to raise graduation rates. We are going to work on the quality of the time we have today," said Superintendent Sandy Garrett.
Garrett also wants teachers to make better use of technology to help students prepare for the future.
