A man charged with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old has had his preliminary hearing set for July 27.
Brandon Brixey appeared Monday morning before a judge via a Tulsa County jail close-circuit television system.
Brixey is charged with two counts of first-degree rape, and one each of lewd molestation, kidnapping, robbery by force or fear, and eluding an officer.
During Monday's court appearance, Brixey entered a "not guilty" plea to all counts.
Tulsa Police say Brixey admitted he stole a van with three kids inside and sexually assaulted the oldest child. Tulsa Police spotted the van not long after the carjacking and tried to stop it, which led to a high speed chase through Tulsa.
Brixey was arrested the next day.
