The Green Country Water Garden Society's 16th Annual Pond Tour is this weekend. From Koi fish to waterfalls, you'll see it all at each of the 19 locations.
The Green Country Water Garden Society hopes the event will once again provide the public an inexpensive way to improve their property and the look of Green Country.
If you're thinking of taking the plunge, the tour is an easy way to get some helpful hints and a lot of motivation to start building.
Dan Taber took his backyard to a whole new level after three years of taking the tour. Now, he spends most all of his time working on his masterpiece in the backyard.
"It took us a year to build it and I've maintained it for three years so my pond's four years old. I've added a fountain out back and at nighttime it's got a fountain and two waterfalls back there. We love it," said Dan Taber.
The tour map is $5 and that covers both Saturday and Sunday.
