Bixby Officials Break Ground For Sports Complex

Folks in Bixby broke ground on Tuesday for the second phase of the Bentley Park Sports Complex. The money to pay for the project came from a $20 million bond issue Bixby voters overwhelmingly approved two years ago.

The facility will be packed with state of the art attractions for the whole family.

"A couple of baseball quads, softball quads, super playground, a splash pad, smaller courts, soccer and international soccer field," said Bixby Mayor, Ray Bowen.

Bixby's Mayor says the sports complex will help bring more business to area hotels, restaurants and shopping centers.
