A state highway in Rogers County destroyed by heavy rain reopened Thursday evening. Crews finished work on state Highway 20 around 5 p.m.
The road started sliding down Keetonville Hill after heavy rain last month. Construction crews had to reinforce the hill before the highway could be rebuilt, reconnecting Claremore and Owasso.
A $5 million emergency repair contract was awarded to Muskogee Bridge Company.
