DA Gets Carroll Fisher Case

The tax evasion case of former state Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher has been turned over to the Tulsa County District Attorney. 

Fisher is scheduled to stand trial in August.  Fisher is accused of filing a false state tax return by underreporting his income by more than $4,000. 

The DA can go forward with the case alone or ask the governor for help from the state Attorney General's office.
