Victims Of Violent Crimes Remembered

Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris has posted a slideshow tribute to victims of violent crimes on his website.

"We started posting some photographs of family members who were victims of violent crime and the families really warmed up to that," said District Attorney Tim Harris.

"We will prosecute zealously under the law, but let's not forget the human element that is tied to every case that comes through us," said Harris.

Jeanettie Marshall's sister and brother-in-law were murdered in 2004. After seeing justice served, she finds comfort in knowing they won't be forgotten.

"Everybody cares enough to remember and not just let it drop and bring it up at the time of a new murder," said Jeanettie Marshall.
