A new feature on NewsOn6.com makes watching the forecast even easier. "U Control: Weather Center" is called that because there are so many interactive features at your fingertips.

You can find the "U Control: Weather Center" by clicking into the weather section of NewsOn6.com. There are several ways to use this new feature.

Clicking on a temperature will show not only the day's current conditions, but also The News On 6 extended forecast.

There are four control buttons on the left side of the map. Use these to receive all kinds of weather information. You can get everything from a pin-point forecast to the latest watches and warnings.

If you're not sure what each button offers, just scroll over the question mark for an explanation. Plus, a satellite, terrain and map view are just a click away! And in case you're wondering, this map works anywhere in the world.

Another new feature on NewsOn6.com is the "U Control: Street Level Radar. This can be found by clicking on the radar tab. It's not only interactive, but the real-time animation is what sets this feature apart from others.

All you have to do is hit play to get started. You can see where and how the storm is moving. And if you can't see your community, just use the transparency function to lighten it up a bit.

You can use the arrows to navigate your way around and even zoom in to where you live. The center button takes you back to where you started.
