Drunken Driving Sends Woman To Hospital

A woman is recovering on Sunday morning after police say she got into an overnight drunken driving accident. Police say the woman was driving east on Highway 51 when she drove off the roadway, flipped her jeep, and landed in a ravine.

Police say the woman was driving drunk and traveling at about 55 mph.

EMSA took the woman to the hospital. Her injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The Tulsa Police and Fire Departments and Broken Arrow Police and Fire Departments responded to the single car accident.
