"We opened up about three years ago. We show independent films and foreign films and documentaries," said Circle Cinema manager Greg Younger. "This film, Note by Note, kind of fits into the documentary style films we like to show down here."
He shows the Steinway moved into the cinema's lobby.
"This piano I guess is on tour, it's touring from place to place as part of the exhibit so people can have more of a hands-on experience when they come to see the film. Not only do they get to see the film and how the piano was made but they get to see the final product and do a 360 degree tour of it as well," said Younger.
The films Tulsa premier is at Circle Cinema Thursday April 3, 2008.
"Note by Note, we're going to have several pianists come in and play the piano while we have the opening and a reception and the director of the film will be here," said Younger. "The long and the short of it is that the film is the life of this piano from its inception to being put completely together and in the final form that you see here."
