Sapulpa Worker Killed In Accident

Authorities are investigating a fatal workplace accident in Sapulpa.

A workplace accident in Sapulpa claimed the life of an Inola father and veteran. According to the Creek County Sheriff, 23-year-old Elmer Crane III was trapped between two pieces of machinery on Friday at Bennett Steel. He was flown to a local hospital where he died.

Crane was married with two kids and had served in Iraq about a year ago.

Bennett Steel says it is investigating the accident.
