A Green Country college campus is remembering a student killed in an accident.  It happened near the Illinois River around Tahlequah.

More than 100 students at NSU held a vigil on Thursday night.  They mourned the loss of a classmate and prayed for those hurt in the wreck.

Five students were driving near the river in their SUV early Thursday morning when the accident occurred.

NSU administrators won't say much more than one student was killed, two more were flown to the hospital and the other two are doing fine.

The highway patrol is still investigating what caused the crash.
