A missing statue which hundreds of Edmond Girl Scouts raised money to pay for, has been found. The 400 pound statue was found late Monday night in Hafer Park in Edmond.
The statue vanished from Mitch Park in Edmond on Thursday night or Friday morning.
Edmond Police believe the thieves wanted to cut it up and sell the scrap metal. Police say the thieves could have made about $1,000 off of the artwork.
Eighteen-year-old Chad Griffin Alexander was arrested Monday night. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of concealing stolen property.
