Police say alcohol is possibly to blame for an overnight accident that sent two men to the hospital. Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the incident happened shortly after midnight.
Police say one driver was turning southbound onto Yale from the 66th Street light. The driver had the green light, but another man heading north on Yale ran the red light with his maroon truck. That's when police say the two trucks collided.
EMSA took both men to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time, but police say the drivers met at a high rate of speed.
Officers are investigating whether the driver of the maroon truck was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
