Brian Arneecher's been teaching art for seven years and now he's back in the classroom-except today as a student.
"I think the best teachers are life-long learners," said Arneecher, an art teacher at Jenks High School.
It's a technique that requires quick work against blazing-hot temperatures. Brian is learning the delicate art of glass blowing.
"It's a unique experience because you can ruin a piece quickly or you can make something nice in a relatively short amount of time," said Arneecher.
As Brian carefully and quickly crafts a glass flower - he's continued learning so he can give students more opportunities.
"You can't do everything in the classroom," said Arneecher. "Drawing and painting may not be for everybody but they may have an affinity for glass and 3D art."
Brian's flower is complete, hoping what he's learned will blossom into success for his students.
