Tulsa robbery detectives are looking for a man who's robbed at least two stores wearing the same, cheap disguise, a paper mustache. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the first robbery happened on January 22nd at 7:40 p.m. at the Subway at 58th and South Lewis.
"White male, 5-feet-6, 180 pounds, wearing brown stocking cap, dark glasses and brown paper mustache," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.
The man pointed a gun at the employee, handed over a paper bag and demanded money from the cash drawer be put into the bag. The employee did just that and the robber left.
"Couple of days later, January 27th, same type of robbery of another Subway, same brown paper mustache, so we think it's the same individual," said Officer Ashley.
They believe the robber is in his 30's and they believe now that he's hit twice, he's likely to keep going.
Anyone who recognizes the robber can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You don't have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
