Oklahoma's Labor Commissioner spent 10 hours at a detox center after he allegedly tried to take a rodeo cowboy's guitar. Democrat Lloyd Fields was attending an event at the conclusion of the Professional Bull Riders Association's Copenhagen Challenge Tour Saturday at Oklahoma City's Ford Center when he allegedly took a guitar owned by bull rider Colby Yates.
Fields reportedly spent 10 hours in a detox center under the Public Inebriate Alternative Center near downtown Oklahoma City's Bricktown.
Fields, in a statement, writes that the incident was a practical joke gone bad. Governor Brad Henry has said the commissioner owes the public an explanation and an apology for his actions.
