Poultry producers say Oklahoma's Attorney General is trying to put them out of business. Poultry farmers responded to Drew Edmondson's lawsuit, saying a ban on chicken litter is unnecessary.
Edmondson says eastern Oklahoma's lakes and rivers are so polluted, it is a health hazard. Poultry farmers claim the attorney general is basing his lawsuit on bad information.
Both sides will appear in court on Tuesday, February 19.
