Two cars were heavily damaged early Wednesday morning in accident near 71st and Yale in Tulsa. Police were looking for the driver of one of the cars.

Police Search For Driver Involved In Accident

Two cars were heavily damaged early Wednesday morning in accident near 71st and Yale in Tulsa. Police were looking for the driver of one of the cars.

Officers say a car traveling westbound on 71st Street ran off the road and hit a tree, snapping the tree in half. The car crossed the eastbound lane and flipped over. Police say the driver left the scene of the accident before emergency crews arrived.

While police were looking for the driver, they say another car traveling eastbound on 71st Street hit the broken tree. That car was damaged but the driver was not hurt.
