Ice Bowl Benefits Food Bank

The 13th annual Tulsa Ice Bowl was held on Saturday.  The Ice Bowl is a disc golf tournament that benefits Oklahoma's hungry.  The two-round, 36-hole game took place at Tulsa's Riverside Park Saturday morning. 

"It's always a warm feeling using this recreation or tournament as a vehicle to do a charity fundraiser its worked out so well in the past its working out well this year," said tournament director Wayne Forest. 

Last year, the Tulsa Ice Bowl raised 381 pounds of food and nearly $3,000 for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. 

The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma feeds about 50,000 people every week.
