Looking For Car Burglars

Tulsa Police are stepping up patrols at the city's parks looking for car burglars.  Undercover police officers have been patrolling Tulsa parks and parking lots, on the lookout for people who break into vehicles. 

Investigators say car burglaries have always been a problem in Tulsa and this latest effort is way to stem the tide.  

"I want the bad guys out there that are actually doing this to realize that when they go into the park, when they see somebody just looking around...it might not be a citizen out there throwing a Frisbee, it might be one of us throwing that Frisbee waiting for them to do what they do," said Tulsa Police detective Jim McClaughroy. 

Police detectives say the best prevention is to not leave any valuables inside your vehicle.
