Dozens of officers from across Green Country are getting some hands on training to help them assess accident scenes. They're taking part in a one week advanced collision investigation school at Broken Arrow's Police Training Center, located at 4205 E. Omaha.
The course is put on by the Institute of Police Technology and Management based in Florida.
The course focuses on crashes involving commercial motor vehicles. Officers from 13 different law enforcement agencies are participating.
The course is paid for through a grant from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.
