NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford is one of 15 semifinalists for the Davey O'Brien Award given each year to the top quarterback in college football.

Bradford is the only freshman among the semifinalists and is currently ranked second in the nation in pass efficiency.

The award is sponsored by the Davey O'Brien Foundation of Fort Worth, Texas.

Three finalists will be chosen November 18th and the winner will be announced December 6th.
