Search Is On For Couple Spending Funny Money

Tulsa police need your help to catch a couple of crooks tonight. Officers are looking for a man and woman who have been spending big bucks in counterfeit cash. Officers say the two have been targeting stores across Tulsa using fake $100 bills. The suspects have worked out a way to wash the cash.

"They went into a local department store September the 11th; they got about $600 worth of items. They leave the store, go to another store, it's changed for the real cash,â€ said Tulsa Police Officer Leland Ashley.

Anyone with information about the couple is urged to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
