Two people questioned in a double homicide are no longer considered persons of interest. Tulsa police say items found during a search of the victims' home, led them to a man. Detectives searched his home Tuesday night and again Wednesday morning. Police were able to determine that he did have contact with one of the victims, but detectives now say he is no longer a person of interest in the case.
Meanwhile, detectives are serving a search warrant at a home on East Marshal. Crime scene investigators collected evidence and some of the items found were similar to items found where the bodies of two women were dumped Tuesday
Forensics will analyze whatever is found, and more search warrants are expected to be served Wednesday night.
The bodies of two women were found about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, wrapped in a tarp on the side of the road near 56th Street North near Highway 75. Police identified the victims as 29-year-old Angela Bassett and 36-year-old Angela Hargrove. Officers believe the two were asphyxiated.
