TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- University of Tulsa football players say they've put Saturday's loss behind them and are ready for this week's game against SMU.
Running back Tarrion Adams says the team is upbeat despite falling to 4-3 on the year after the 44-23 loss at Central Florida.
Adams says if the players start hanging their heads the season might as well be canceled but says that isn't happening and the team is working to improve.
Kickoff for Saturday's game against SMU is set for 2 p.m. at Chapman Stadium in Tulsa.
