CHEROKEE, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating allegations that a hazing incident involving high school students occurred in Alfalfa County.

An Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation inspector, Stan Florence, on Friday confirmed the investigation and said the case involves juveniles.

He says there potentially are several victims and several suspects and that local authorities had asked the OSBI to investigate.

Florence says the results of the investigation would be sent to district attorney offices in Alfalfa County and-or Noble County, because the case involves an incident or incidents in both counties.

Florence says he anticipates any action on the case would come from Alfalfa County, since authorities from that county called OSBI to initiate the investigation.
