KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ A slimmer and trimmer Byron Eaton is looking for this to be his breakout year with the Oklahoma State basketball team.

Eaton's weight has been the subject of criticism during his freshman and sophomore years. But at Bit 12 Media Day in Kansas City, Missouri, he said he weights 211 pounds - down 30 pounds from his freshman season.

With JamesOn Curry now in the NBA OSU coach Sean Sutton says he's counting on Eaton to play 35 or more minutes per game as the Cowboys' point guard.

And Eaton says in addition to the lost weight this fall's conditioning drills have him in the best shape of his life and he's finding things aren't as hard to accomplish as they once were.
