SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- A worker at the Shawnee TDK Ferrites plan has died in what the company president is calling an industrial accident.

A statement from TDK Ferrites President Ron Stravlo says the worker was killed sometime between 11:30 a.m. and noon Sunday.

The worker's name hasn't been released.

Stravlo says the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident and details of what happened will become available as that investigation is conducted.

A variety of magnetic components are manufactured at the plant.
