By day, he is a fitness trainer, but starting Thursday evening, Brad Johnson could become TV's next big reality star. “Last One Standing" debuts Thursday on the Discovery Channel and one of the six stars is a Tulsa man. The show sent Brad Johnson all over the world. News On 6 anchor Omar Villafranca found out what Johnson went through.

At 5-foot, 11-inches and weighing 240 pounds, Brad Johnson is hard to miss. When the BBC called the strongman to compete in a new show on the Discovery Channel called "Last One Standing," Brad thought he knew what to expect.

"I really thought I was strong, I really thought I was brave until I did this. And I realized real quick, damn it man, this is serious," said Brad Johnson.

The show sends six men into the most primitive parts of the world, with no translators and no money.

"We show up, and we see straight nude natives, male and female, and you just go Dude, what have we gotten into?" says Brad Johnson.

The contestants compete with natives in their tribal sports, from stick fighting with Zulu warriors, to wrestling with Brazilian tribesmen.

"I'm going in confident and conceited, going I got this cat; I don't care what we're doing. If it's anything aggressive, I got him beat. I'm pinned that quick. And I just looking at him going 'What's wrong with this equation?" says Brad Johnson.

Brad took his share of bumps and bruises. He separated a shoulder and broke two fingers. The running events nearly killed him.

"The whole time you're thinking, 'How much more pain can I take? How much more pain can I take?' and after a while, it was my brain telling me go, you can do it, my bodies telling me 'there's something wrong with you dude," says Brad Johnson.
