A pizza delivery man who was robbed and beaten with a baseball bat last week in Muskogee is now home from the hospital.
Jason Rush's family tells The News On 6 he’s still having trouble moving his left foot, he's lost hearing in his left ear and is having headaches. They say he has a long recovery ahead, but is just glad to be back with his 6-year-old daughter.
Police say three people, Christina Hall, Jesse Moler and Robert Peters, called Domino’s for a pizza with the sole purpose of beating and robbing the deliveryman. Jason happened to get that delivery. He was ambushed and beaten with a baseball bat, said police. The suspects then left him bleeding and with a severe head injury.
Jason didn't realize he'd been injured and drove home. He wrecked his car just a few houses away.
