A shooting suspect is sentenced to 61 years in prison on Wednesday.
A judge sentenced Michael Henson of Coweta in the April shooting of 19-year-old Angie Thompson and her grandmother, Patricia Honeycutt. Both women survived, but Thompson lost a hand and Honeycutt lost most of her stomach.
Police say Henson told them he shot Thompson because he was in love with her, and became angry when she didn't have dinner with him.
