Cause Of Apartment Fire Remains Under Investigation

Quick work by Tulsa firefighters stopped a fire in an apartment from spreading at a Tulsa apartment complex overnight. Tulsa Fire was called out to the Observation Point Apartments near 41st and South 129th East Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire investigators say an apartment at the complex used to store maintenance equipment, like paint, generators and tools, caught fire. The fire spread to an upstairs apartment. It took Tulsa firefighters less than 10 minutes to extinguish the fire before it could spread any further.

A resident in the upstairs apartment was about to get out uninjured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
