A mother and son are thankful to be alive after a home invasion turns violent Monday afternoon in Tulsa. Tulsa Police say the pair answered the front door of their home in the 500 block of North 91st East Avenue, to find two suspects standing at the door with shotguns. The two suspects asked to come inside and use the telephone.
One of the victims, Beverly told the News On 6, when she and her son refused, the situation turned violent.
"And we were all just fighting at the door and we ended up out here. And the guy got away from him and he held a gun to my head and said I'll blow your brains out if you don't get back in the house," said Beverly.
Tulsa Police say both victims suffered minor injuries in the attack. Police officers say after roughing up the mother and son, the two suspects stole cash from the house.
Tulsa Police are looking for two black males, between the ages of 18 and 22. The men are described as clean cut, thin build and about 6 feet tall. Tulsa Police say the two suspects were wearing dark hoodies and drove away from the scene in an early ‘90’s gold colored Chevy Caprice type car.
