OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Four Oklahoma agencies received more than $370,000 Tuesday from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for housing projects for low-income elderly people.
HUD officials say most of the money awarded to Oklahoma projects will go to Tulsa-based Volunteers of America of Oklahoma -- $156,600.
Officials say the Choctaw Hope Development Corporation in Durant received two grants for $74,750 each, totaling $149,500.
Little Dixie Community Action Agency, located in Hugo, is slated to receive $67,250.
