OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State Senator Don Barrington says he wants to expand the sales tax holiday to include school supplies.

Under the current sales tax holiday clothing and footwear of up to $100 are not taxed during the first weekend in August.

Barrington says he'll introduce legislation to include school supplies such as pencils, paper, crayons notebooks and calculators.
