Tulsa Police say thieves tend to target businesses more than people, but this week in Tulsa is proof it can happen to individuals as well. That is why Tulsa Police say it is important that you arm yourself with the right tips. Doing so could mean the difference between life and death.
Tulsa Police say if yourself in the same position as robbery victim Steffan Schlemme, you should not fight back as he did.
“The best thing you can do is a victim of a robbery is to comply with the demands. Let’s face it if you have $1,000, $500 or $5 in your wallet you can replace that. By fighting, it often turns out bad. What I mean by that is you could be injured or murdered,†says Tulsa Police officer Jason Willingham.
