JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) _ Arkansas State football coach Steve Roberts says the Big 12 Conference's supervisor of football officials admits game officials were wrong to overturn ASU's recovery of an onside kick in the final minute of Saturday's game against Texas.

The 7th-ranked Longhorns recovered a second onside kick and held on for a 21-13 victory over the underdog Indians.

Officials calling the game said ASU had an improper formation by not having at least four players on each side of the ball.

Roberts says the game film shows the Indians did have enough players on both sides of the ball.

The Big 12 Conference says officials coordinator Walt Anderson wasn't immediately available for comment.
