Tulsa Police need your help to catch a crook. A woman, who caught a man stealing from her, ended up being attacked by that man and a woman who was with him. In an unusual twist, another woman who was with the two suspects, actually tried to stop the assault. The whole thing was caught on videotape.

News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the victim stopped at a Tulsa convenience store at 519 South Sheridan on July 24 at 1 a.m. She ran inside to buy some items and came back out to a surprise.

"She came outside and noticed her GPS unit was missing from her car and she saw a black male exit from her car so she went inside to call police. That's when she decides to go back outside and get the tag number," says Tulsa Police officer Leland Ashley.

The suspect realizes what she is doing and he and a woman with him follow the victim into store in an effort to stop her.

"Female at this time, starts assaulting the victim. The male also starts assaulting the victim. A third black female actually attempts to stop the fight," says Officer Leland Ashley.

Tulsa Police say they are hoping the third woman with the suspects will now be to come forward and turn the other two suspects in to police. Police also hope someone will recognize their faces from the videotape and give them up.

Anyone with information can remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. It could earn you a cash reward.
