Update: No compelling reason to make any significant changes to going forecast. Barring any cirrus cloud debris, we should have good viewing conditions for the total lunar eclipse early Tuesday morning.
Earlier discussion: Main forecast issues deal with temperatures and what to do with a weakening cool front that should be arriving along about Thursday. Southerly winds of 10-15+ during the day and less at night will help to heat things back up, but with the recent rains and the lush vegetation, temperatures have been slow to rebound. Only in the lower 90s so far today and it looks like low-mid 90s should hold till Thursday when the front arrives. Humidity levels will put the heat index around 100 or so each afternoon though. Early morning lows will also be on the rise due to light southerly winds overnight. A fairly heavy morning dew will be the closest thing to rain for a couple of days.
Front still looks like it will be arriving on Thursday, most likely during the morning hours. It still looks to be a fairly weak system, but there will be a decent chance of rain or storms at 40% on Thursday. A few storms could also pop up late in the day Wednesday and since there will not be much of a push of drier air behind the front, look for at least partly cloudy skies and a chance of some lingering showers into Friday and perhaps even Saturday.
