Tulsa Police have confirmed a woman found dead several months ago in her Tulsa home was a homicide victim. A relative discovered the body of 59-year-old Margaret Kay Kearney Pope in May.
Police had said there were no obvious signs of foul play, but the state Medical Examiner's Office later determined Pope was strangled. Evidence also indicates she was sexually assaulted.
