FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Freshman Alex Tejada will be Arkansas' kicker this season, coach Houston Nutt said Tuesday.

Tejada, who went to high school at Springdale, was one of the most prominent recruits in last year's class for the Razorbacks -- because he was thought to have a chance to contribute right away.

Nutt said Jeremy Davis will be the punter.

Fullback Peyton Hillis returned to practice Tuesday, playing at full speed, while center Jonathan Luigs sat out sick on the sidelines. Nutt said it was great to have Hillis back on the field. Hillis had sat out several practices with an injured hamstring.

Meanwhile, Luigs and others sat out -- coaches said several players suffered from illnesses in recent days. In Luigs' absence, Robert Felton and Mike Moffitt filled in at center.
