Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect involved in an auto-pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning. The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. near Apache and Peoria. Tulsa Police say the suspect hit a vehicle near the intersection. A man and his 16-year-old brother saw the accident as the vehicle came towards them. The pair told police officers that they tried to get out of the way but the vehicle struck the 16-year-old.
The driver of the vehicle then proceeded on and hit a parked car and snapped a telephone pole causing a power outage in the neighborhood. The victim told police the suspect ran off and Tulsa Police say he has not been seen since. The 16-year-old was rushed to a Tulsa hospital. We do not have his condition.
Tulsa Police believe the suspect was in a stolen vehicle.
