A Tulsa man is recovering after he is attacked during an armed robbery early Wednesday morning. It happened around 1:30 a.m. when a man and his wife pulled up to their apartment in the 13100 block of East 31st Street.

The couple told Tulsa Police officers, a suspect wearing a stocking over his head and armed with a pistol demanded their money. The man was struck in the back of the head, but police say he will be okay.

Police say the suspect drove off in an older Jeep Cherokee with another person in the front seat.

Tulsa Police believe the same people are responsible for several armed robberies in the same area.
