Tulsa Public Schools superintendent is making sure his teachers are ready for the new school year. Dr. Michael Zolkoski held a conference Tuesday at the Tulsa Convention Center. He went over appropriate disciplinary actions, like in-school suspensions and enforcing the dress code. Dr. Zolkoski also stressed that teachers should work aggressively to help every child.
"The standards are already there we're just making sure the students live up to the expectations,†said McClain high school principal Jerome Williams. “Whether it be the disciplinary code of conduct, the code of law, and also students need to be presentable."
Dr. Zolkoski says the most important thing for students is they never stop reading.
