KINTA, Okla. (AP) -- Haskell County authorities are crediting the department's drug dog for what the sheriff says is the county's largest bust of marijuana ready for sale. A German Shepherd named Bojar alerted sheriff's deputies to a little more than 100 pounds of pot hidden in a secret compartment in a pickup truck.
Two Dallas men were arrested in last week's bust. Deputy Richard Lane says the men's names aren't being released as the investigation is ongoing.
The men were pulled over for speeding on state Highway 31 just east of Kinta when Bojar alerted deputies to the presence of drugs.
Lane says officers pulled 49 plastic-wrapped bricks of marijuana weighing about 103 pounds from the compartment.
